Starting the iLet Bionic Pancreas

We’re so excited for you to start your replacement iLet!

Step 1

Update your iLet Mobile App

Visit the Google Play store or the Apple App Store and search for “iLet Mobile App” to ensure you have the most up-to-date app.

Step 2

Set up your iLet

Power Up

When you are ready to get started, power the iLet on by placing it on the charging pad.

Get Started

Tap Begin, and then follow the onscreen instructions to select the correct date and time and give your iLet a name. You will then be brought to the iLet Setup Menu.

Pair your CGM

Make sure your Dexcom G6 sensor is running and displaying a glucose value on your G6 app when you start your iLet Bionic Pancreas. You will not be able to GO BIONIC until your CGM warmup is complete.

Paring your CGM

Tap CGM Sensor in the iLet Setup menu.

Tap No Code. Enter the CGM transmitter serial number and tap Next

Tap Next on the Insert Sensor screen

Once the transmitter is paired, your iLet will start displaying your current CGM glucose and trend arrow if available on the home screen.

Step 3

Pair your iLet Bionic Pancreas

Insulin Cartridge

Tap Insulin Cartridge in the Setup Menu and follow prompts to insert  your filled insulin cartridge. (For directions on how to fill your cartridge, please refer to the Quick Reference Guide or User Guide.)

Insulin Set

Tap insulin set in the setup menu and follow the prompts.

Enter Weight

Tap Enter Weight and enter your body weight to the nearest pound.

Go Bionic!

Make sure the weight you entered is correct! Then swipe to Go Bionic!

Home Screen

Once you GO BIONIC, you should see CGM data on the home screen and the Beta Bionics circle will be spinning slowly.
