How to update to Abbott’s FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor

Step 1

Update your iLet Mobile App

Visit the Google Play store or the Apple App Store and search for “iLet Mobile App” to ensure you have the most up-to-date app.

Step 2

How to update to Abbott’s FreeStye Libre 3 Plus sensor

Get or Update the App

Download or update the iLet app from the Apple App store or Google Play store.

Position Devices

Have your app and iLet device close by each other.

Enable iLet firmware update

Once the app is up to date, go to your app Settings.

Tap on your iLet device.

Tap Check for Firmware Update and update to the latest firmware.

Step 3

Change your CGM Sensor Type on your iLet

1. Main Menu, Dexcom CGM

On your iLet, go to the Menu.

2. CGM Menu

Tap CGM, then tap Switch CGM Sensor.

4. CGM Type, FSL 3+

Select Abbott Libre 3 Plus. Tap Next.

5. Confirm Sensor Type Change

Drag the Change slider to confirm your selection.

Step 4

Start a FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor

Open the iLet App and tap the Settings Tab.

Tap Start Sensor.

Following the manufacturer’s instructions, apply a FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor.

Tap Start sensor.

Hold top of your phone very close to the sensor.

Once connected, your sensor will warm-up automatically.

Insulin On Board (IOB)

Now, the IOB is primarily your correction doses and meal doses (similar to how other pumps display IOB).
