What is a bionic pancreas? It’s NOT a pump – but it is so much more! The iLet is an automated insulin delivery system that removes traditional user interactions because it makes the decisions for you.

After startup, the iLet is going to learn about YOU. The iLet Bionic Pancreas learns your basal insulin needs, how to correct you to target, and how much insulin you need for your meals. The whole idea is to reduce the numbers of diabetes management.

iLet Pivotal Trial Results
Our clinical partners conducted the largest and most diverse clinical study of an automated insulin delivery system to date. The pivotal results were published in the September 29, 2022 issue of The New England Journal of Medicine.

Patients using the iLet showed a substantial reduction in HbA1C (-0.5%).
People who used the iLet had an average of 2.6 hours more time in range per day over 13 weeks over standard of care.
60% of adult patients in the study who had previously used an automated insulin delivery system reported that iLet was better or much better than their prior system.
75% of pediatric patients in the study who had previously used an automated insulin delivery system reported that iLet was better or much better than their prior system.
What’s next?
The iLet is the subject of a pending 510(k) and not yet available for sale.
